Learning to write is an essential life skill, and it can provide many benefits for those who take the time to develop their writing abilities. Through this class, you will learn how to write engaging and funny stories, jokes, and sketches that will captivate your audience. These skills will not only make you a better comedian but also a better writer in general.

One of the most significant benefits of learning to write is the ability to communicate effectively. Writing well allows us to convey our ideas and thoughts clearly and precisely, which is important in all areas of life. I teach classes related to comedy and humor including sketch comedy, improv, and satire writing.

I'm an improvisor, comedian, and writer who has written professionally for web series, comic strips, and satirical publications like McSweeney's. I've been fortunate to graduate from the Second City's renowned Conservatory Program. - with leading comedy actors and writers including Kevin McDonald of TV's The Kids in the Hall and the movie Lilo & Stitch.

I believe that comedy has the ability to improve skills like interpersonal communication and writing as well as boost students' confidence. Whether a learner is the "class clown" or someone who is a bit more quiet, I aim to create a learning environment where they can have fun, gain confidence and learn new skills.

I have a bachelor of arts degree and a master's degree in business.
