使用 IEW 課程撰寫古代歷史文章 - 加速版：第 2 部分

As we continue our journey through Ancient times in this Part 2 class, our writing is going to gain even more description as we focus on summarizing multiple references (as we do with research),  Inventive Writing, Critiques, and Formal Essays.  Our focus will be on the lessons introducing new stylistic techniques and/or methods.

Each of these writing structures will be developed using material from the student book, relating to topics in ancient history.

Because this curriculum is sequential and builds upon structure, you will already need experience with the first 5 units of IEW methods because we will not be spending time going back to those initial units.  In this class, we will cover final 4 units for the IEW methods throughout 10 lessons.

As we write, students will be experimenting with even more "dress-ups", sentence openers, and figurative language, to add style and interest to their topics.   These will all be outlined in the weekly assignments.

During class, we will use discussion, modeling, activities, and other learning techniques to reinforce vocabulary and style, while expanding our writing skills.

Students MUST have prior experience with Units 1-5 of IEW and/or have completed my first class on Writing About Ancient Times (Part 1).  There is a lot of writing as we delve into writing 5 paragraph essays.
