In this one time class, students will learn how to draft a letter to Santa, but in French. With teacher guidance, the student will learn vocabulary, phrases, and sentence structures to tell Santa what they would like for Christmas. Students will read their letter at the end of class and they will be able to rewrite their letter at home to leave for Santa. This is a great class for a beginner or someone who is studying French and would like to expand their French vocabulary. I look forward to meeting your student and helping them write their letter to Pere Noel!

I am a licensed French teacher grades preK-12 and I would love to meet your student in my class! I have over 10 years teaching experience in-person and over 3 years teaching experience online with students ages 4-14.
I have lived for a year in Aix-en-Provence, France where I taught ESL in a private school. I have also traveled to Quebec, Canada 4 times with my middle school students. In the classroom for over 10 years, I have been required to teach about over 20 francophone countries as a requirement of the Virginia Standards of Learning for French. In addition, my classes always follow the National Foreign Language Association’s 5 C’s of language learning, which includes culture. In this course, students will learn about 10 different francophone countries. They will learn where they are on a map, why they speak French, and how French in used in their country. 評論
