Students will gain understanding of character development, setting, dialogue, figurative language, tone, mood, and other concepts to improve their writing.

Students will need to bring materials to brainstorm ideas, such as a pen and paper or an iPad.

Students are free to read their own creative ideas. Sometimes this may lead to more mature conversations, but students will be encouraged to keep language and graphic scenes to themselves. If a student wants feedback on a more graphic scene, then they can take one of my private tutoring classes.
