Learn this format, use it over and over again to write as many stories in different genres, on various topics, characters, settings and plots. Learner will submit their short story upon completion. Post any assignments as often as you like throughout the eight lessons and learners will be given Teacher feedback within 24-48 hours. Hello, I'm Paula Reid and happy to meet you and be able to teach your child/ren. I've been in the education field all my life it seems, from helping my classmates finish their lessons when I was in second grade to becoming a teacher and then a Principal when I grew up. I've also been a business owner for my years. But I love teaching! I love children of all ages and I love seeing learners become the best that they can be . . . and it happens through great parenting, education and phenomenal teaching.
I have a BA in Psychology, an MA in Education, Special Education and post-graduate work in School Administration. I've taught learners from the ages of 4 to seniors in urban, rural USA, Africa and South America, as well as ESL classes to children and young adults in China and a few other countries. I've been an online teacher for almost seven years now and have enjoyed every moment.
One of my favorite things to do is to write. That's why I created this course for potential short story writers. I love seeing young writers become passionate about writing, rather than waiting until they're older, looking back and wishing they had begun writing when they were younger. So if you have a potential writer, a creative learner who always tells stories, or one who wants to start writing, now's the time to begin writing and learning how to do it correctly.
