Join "Write Like a Pro: Advanced Essay and Literary Analysis Skills " to master higher-level writing and analytical skills. Designed for students aged 13-17, this course guides learners through crafting well-supported arguments, dissecting complex literature, and applying persuasive techniques. Students will gain the tools to write effectively for advanced academic settings, including high school and college-prep environments. What Will Be Taught? In this course, students will learn advanced essay structures and dive into literary analysis, examining themes and symbols across genres. They will also develop skills in crafting persuasive essays and conducting research, learning to cite sources using MLA or APA formats. Additionally, students will compile a writing portfolio to showcase their progress and mastery of these skills. Class Structure: This class meets once a week for 55 minutes, with each session focusing on enhancing specific advanced writing skills.
