In this club. we will be working on: problem-solving, thinking outside the norm; being creative; and finding context clues and secrets in the plots. Class is structured as a teacher-led discussion. We will discuss the book as a whole, then each student will get to dive into their thoughts and how they'd change the story if they were the main character. Overall, I am working on getting learners to be excited about books, and understand plots and character development. Cause and effect and conflict resolution. The learners will have all week to read the book, and then we will meet once a week for one hour, and discuss the book and how would we survive. Problem-solve and listen to others great ideas. Each week we'll discuss one of the first four books of the Goosebumps Series by R. L. Stine. Week 1: Welcome to the Dead House Live Meet: July 25th Week 2: Stay Out of the Basement Live Meet: Aug. 1st Week 3: Monster Blood Live Meet: Aug. 8th Week 4: Say Cheese and Die! Live Meet: Aug. 15th
