General Info: This class is full course of World History, meaning we will cover a full year of content topics. Continue reading for all the info you need. There are 20 weeks of content. Week 1Lesson 1Early Ages and Eras - (Mesozoic, Ice Age, and more)We will cover early times including the Paleozoic, Mesozoic, Ice Ages, and more. Students will have a weekly project to complete if they wish, in relation to the topic.Week 2Lesson 2Beginning of Human Society (Stone and Bronze Ages, Hunters, Nomads, etc)We will cover the periods when we began to see humans including the Stone and Bronze Ages, Hunters, Nomads, and more. Students will have a weekly project to complete if they wish, in relation to the topic.Week 3Lesson 3Early Civilizations (Mesopotamia)We will cover the kingdoms within the earliest civilization of Mesopotamia including Sumer, Babylonia, and Assyria. Students will have a weekly project to complete if they wish, in relation to the topic.Week 4Lesson 4Early Civilizations (Persia)We will cover the last and largest civilization of Mesopotamia which is Perisa. Students will have a weekly project to complete if they wish, in relation to the topicWeek 5Lesson 5Early Civilizations (Egypt)We will cover the ancient civilization of Egypt. Students will have a weekly project to complete if they wish, in relation to the topic.Week 13Lesson 13Europe CE (Renaissance, Elizabethan Era, etc.)We will cover the Renaissance Era including the culture, history, smaller eras within, and more. Students will have a weekly project to complete if they wish, in relation to the topic.Week 14Lesson 14Asia CE (Mongol Empire, Asian Empire Expansions, etc)We will cover the Mongolian Empire and other Asian empires including the culture, history, and more. Students will have a weekly project to complete if they wish, in relation to the topic.Week 15Lesson 15Expansion of Countries (Colonialism, Immigration, Indigenous Peoples, etc).We will cover early colonization around the world including North America, Australia, and others. Students will have a weekly project to complete if they wish, in relation to the topic.Week 16Lesson 16Revolutions, Roaring 20s, Great Depression (1450-1900s around the world)We will cover the Industrial Revolutions, 1920s in the US and around the world as well as the impact of the Great Depression. Students will have a weekly project to complete if they wish, in relation to the topic.Week 17Lesson 17World War I EraWe will cover World War I and its impact around the world. Students will have a weekly project to complete if they wish, in relation to the topicWeek 18Lesson 18World War II (Europe)We will cover World War II in Europe and its impact around the world. Students will have a weekly project to complete if they wish, in relation to the topic.Week 19Lesson 19World War II (Pacific)We will cover World War II in the Pacific and its impact around the world. Students will have a weekly project to complete if they wish, in relation to the topic.Week 20Lesson 2020th - 21st Century Wars (Cold War, Vietnam, Korean, Desert Storm, Afghanistan)We will cover the additional wars of the 20th and 21st centuries and the impact of them around the world. Students will have a weekly project to complete if they wish, in relation to the topic.
- Students will leave my class will a well-rounded understanding on world history including major events and eras leading to the 21st century. The emphasis in this class is a perspective from other countries and their history during the eras and events.
I am certified in various subjects and have taught these topics in classes on Outschool and in Charter school for a long time. I am well versed in these topics and standards and love teaching them. Students are urged to join in the discussion. I have been teaching these topics for many years. I am certified and qualified to teach on marginalized groups and topics in relation to History due to my certification to do so.

Students who want to test their knowledge of the content can take these and submit to be added into their grade. Most of the time, answer pages are also linked in there as well, but in the case there is none, submit for grading.Letter Grade
頻率: 可根據要求提供細節: Grades will be provided via request but require students to submit weekly work to be graded and then averaged at the end for an overall grade. Please let me know the week you enter class if you wish to have a grade, and I will keep track of progress throughout the class.Certificate of Completion

We will cover early eras, events, and cultures which might include discussion of servants, human sacrifice, aspects of world religions, invasions, violence, and anything else relating to the history of civilizations and eras. We will also discuss major wars, including our most recent, and sensitive events such as 911 and other events shaping the world. I am not teaching to share my opinion on the topics, I am teaching the events as recorded in history and in the textbooks listed below. We will have discussions on these topics throughout, but my goal is to initiate open conversations on some of these events so they learn about them, but also get to have projects on them as well. Students also need to have access to Google Drive to access the folder with resources I send weekly.
