課堂經歷
Does your child love geography or learning about different countries and interesting places around the world? Then they will love our World Explorers class where they will explore new places every week, while practicing their socials skills and making connections with new friends. Students will explore the culture, history and language of states, cities, countries, famous landmarks and more. Students will share about trips they have taken, as well as places they hope to travel to one day. YouTube videos of countries and cities will be shown, and fun word explorer games will be played. While your child becomes a world explorer, they will also be practicing important social skills including conversational skills, listening skills, turn taking and staying on topic. Week of 6/2: Share about places you have traveled to Week of 6/9: Share about new places you would like to explore Week of 6/16: Famous Landmarks Week of 6/23: Let's explore Japan

These sessions are designed to support the unique learning needs of students with special needs. All of the teachers have a special education background and will tailer the sessions to the language and social abilities of the students.
