每週 2-4 小時. The kids will be collaborating in class and most likely will spend a good amount of time outside of class. I would expect most students to want to spend at least an additional hour per day on their group project.

I will be jumping in and out of the breakout room sessions to get a feel for their understanding as a group and then on the last day when they present the final project.

課堂經歷

This class is a 2 week camp where we will go from concept to finished e-book for each group. 
Week 1 we will be discussing Copywright laws, the technical skills needed to make the book (Utilizing Google slides/docs for group work), doing kahoot quizzes about books 6-10, and some breakout sessions to discuss each book with other clawmates
Day 1: Introductions
Kahoot for Book 6
Intro to Copyright Law
Day 2: Kahoot for Book 7
Copyright Law Part 2
Day 3: Kahoot for book 8
Finish up copyright law/ and or move on to technical side of using Google slides or docs
Day 4: Kahoot for book 9
Continuing to learn Google slides/ Converting to a form that E-book publishers can support
Day 5: Kahoot for Book 10
Introduction to brainstorming and collaborative mind-mapping
First Breakout should occur today it has not happened already
Week 2 is when the students will begin to work on the project with their clawmates and then present their books the last day of camp.
Day 6: Discussion on Book 6
Breakout Sessions to work on project
Day 7: Discussion on Book 7
Breakout Sessions to work on project
Day 8: Discussion on Book 8

Note: We may get started on the group project sooner into week 1 if it seems they have a grasp of the skills needed to begin.

Students will improve their collaboration skills and story development through working together on a topic that interests them. My own children's writing skill development and improvement from this type of project is what has led me to create my Wings of Fire classes.

Wings of Fire has some violence and can be a little gory and that might come up in the discussions and their project as they are developing the storylines.
供應清單
Collaboration through Google slides or Google docs will really help the kids connect and be able to work together. Having a Gmail account will be helpful and especially one that you feel comfortable sharing with the members of your student's group to collaborate with.
