Welcome to Aunt Sam's Nursery time Storytime with her friend Milo the Monkey. Bring your favorite "stuffy" friend and join in on the fun! I believe in begining the English journey of understanding this difficult language with Nursery Rhymes! Why teach Nursery Rhymes? • They teach new words • They help children recognize sounds in words • They teach where sentences begin and end • They teach life skills • They boost fine and gross motor skills • They build emotional awareness Sing along with Aunt Sam and Milo as we recite: • 5 Little Monkeys swinging on a Tree • 5 Little Ducks • 5 Little Monkeys jumping on a Bed • 5 Little Birds • Hey Diddle Diddle • Humpty Dumpty • Eency Weency Spider • More Through dramatization, Aunt Sam captures the attention of each child with crazy facial expressions and funny voices. Teacher facilitates Finger Puppet rhymes. Engages students in discussion and songs. Circle time with Coloring sheet. Involves students through Movement
