This class is a fun and engaging way for students to learn about famous cities in the world and guess which one it is! They will be given clues related to 10 different cities and will guess what each one is. This class will be a shared slide show from my screen. We will also be using Kahoot! in this class to guess the cities and keep track of our scores in the class! This will work the best if your student can access Kahoot! from a different device such as a phone or a tablet. I will give the Kahoot! Code when class starts. There are so many interesting facts to learn about these cities! We will learn about their populations, their locations, famous landmarks and more! We will focus on Sydney, Beijing, New York, Paris, London, Rome, Moscow, Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo, and Cairo. Your learner may bring things to talk about relating to a famous city. There will be lots of opportunities for interaction during this fun class! *This is a fast-paced class! I would love for you to check out my Who Am I Classes!

Hi! My name is Jana Glosson and my passion is teaching children! I have a Bachelors degree from the University of Texas and am certified to teach EC-6 in Texas. I have over 5 years experience teaching in public and private schools, teaching all ages from Early Childhood through 6th grade. I also have 2 years of online teaching experience. I enjoy scrapbooking, painting, sewing, quilting, cross stitching, card-making, mixed media and most of all, teaching! Before getting my teaching certification, I owned a scrapbooking store in Texas and created and taught hundreds of fun and creative classes. I love building confidence in learners and watching them express their creativity! I look forward to meeting your leaner!
