Welcome to Weirdcore Art making, an interesting and confusing art movement we will discover through video, visual examples and actual Digital artmaking. There is no drawing in this particular course, and no You Tube subscription is required! You will gain insights into the origins of the Weirdcore Art Movement through discussion, hands on practice and a screen share presentation provided by Ms. Campeau. You will need an open mind, with a taste for the weird, a computer with Power Point...

Students will learn: To discover a contemporary art movement. To learn about new Iconography with which to make art. To explore art history. To expand our vocabulary in Art. To create a Weird Core art piece using Power Point Presentation. To use new Materials to make art.
Ms. Campeau has extensive Digital Media teaching experience both in the Public School System and with the Royal Conservatory. She has an AP Art teaching Certificate and has taught in China for 4 years. She is currently teaching in Atlantic Canada.
