In this weekly class, learners will learn a new song on the Ukulele. Students will learn all the chords and strumming patterns to play through the verses, chorus, and bridge of each song. By the end of class, the learner will be able to play the whole song and even sing along to it! 
The class will begin by learning the structure and hand placement of each chord needed throughout the song. We will then move into learning the different strumming patterns for each section of the song. At the end, we will piece all the sections together, and play through the whole song. On top of learning a new song each week, learners will have the opportunity to make new friends who are also passionate about music, and who share a similar hobby. 
Learners will also be given a handout each week, made by the teacher,  about the chords used in the song. 

Whether your learner is a passionate musician, a beginner ukulele player, learning how to accompany themselves with an instrument while they sing, a hardcore Taylor Swift fan, or just looking for a new hobby, this is a great class for them. 



My Teaching Experience: 
I have been a passionate musician for fifteen years now, and have spent countless amount of hours in music lessons growing up, and studied musical performance in college. I began teaching music lessons to children when I was seventeen years old, and have loved doing so ever since. I have taught piano, guitar, ukulele, voice, and songwriting to students for five years. 

I graduated in May of 2023 with a bachelor's in Psychology, with a specific focus on adolescent psychology, as well as a minor in musical performance and songwriting.  
I am also a classically trained ballet dancer, a musician, and a published writer.  

My desire in teaching is that each learner will leave class feeling seen, supported, encouraged, and a little better than before the class started!
