Story Time and Writer's Workshop were two of my FAVORITE things to teach as a classroom teacher. :) So I thought it would be fun to combine them and allow the inspiration and creativity of other authors inspire students to create stories of their own, as a way to get their creativity rolling and exploring their unique perspectives and abilities as writers.

There isn't any homework for this class.

If some students wish to go deeper with expanding on and editing their stories, I'd be happy to host a separate Writer's Workshop where we could do that! :) Just let me now!

Students are assessed by their participation -- this means active listening, an openness to share (and practicing the courage and confidence that goes with this!), as well as doing their best to write a story of their own.
