I provide private one on one tutoring for pre k through 5th grade. As a previous Elementary teacher, I can provide individualized instruction to your child in an area of need. When you register, parents can provide me with information pertaining to areas needed for growth in math. I will cater my lesson according to your child's need. I provide hands on learning experiences. I also can cater my lesson to the learning style your child learns best in. The different learning styles are visual, auditory, reading/writing and kinesthetic. Multiple learning styles can also be incorporated into the lesson. Sample topics and weeks: Week of September 27th : Identifying numbers 1 - 20 Week of October 4th : Addition and Subtractions Week of October 10th : Multiplication Week of October 17th : Division These topics can changed based on the child's needs and goals. Hello! My name is Teacher Rachel and I am from Radford, VA of the USA. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and I have a lot of experience with kids! I have taught and tutored children of all ages for 10 years! I have also been an ESL online tutor for 3 years! I am excited to begin teaching and helping your child achieve their personal academic goals through tutoring. I tutor children 3 years of age to about 12 years old. I tutor in math , reading and writing.
Each age brings a different environment to the classroom. Learning is so much fun and I want to be able to show your child how exciting it is. It is so important in the learning process to make sure your child is having fun and smiling! As a teacher, I am energetic, compassionate, patient and friendly. When I'm not teaching your lovely child, I enjoy spending my free time with my family. I have 3 girls and 2 boys. Each child is so different and brings a fun dynamic to the family.
