In this ONGOING, year-long class, learners will explore geography, history, economics, civics, and government. Each week we will learn something new that incorporates the weekly/monthly theme. Learners will learn about world geography, map skills, climates, people and so much more. Multiple viewpoints will be used throughout the course. Lessons will be taught with class discussion, slides, videos, and pictures. Each lesson will have a worksheet to complete during class, some worksheets for after class, and even some possible projects. Crafting engaging and meaningful lessons is important to me, and I'm here to make learning an adventure. When I'm not teaching, you'll find me exploring new places 🧳, whipping up delicious treats in the kitchen 🧁, or tending to my flourishing garden 💐.
I hold a degree👩🎓 in Early Childhood Education and have been immersed in the world of children since I was 18. My journey started as a volunteer at a daycare center and later as a dedicated paraprofessional 👩🏫 for four years, working closely with preschoolers, kindergarteners, and first graders. I've had the privilege of teaching in both public and private school settings. I have been teaching learners online for almost 1 year! I am loving every bit of it.
I'm all about encouraging participation, but I understand that not everyone loves to share—and that's totally okay!
