Welcome to Wild and Unstructured Science! In this class learners will be learning the science behind a potato clock and they will be creating their own clock! Our teachers value learner interaction and feedback. Learners will have a chance to receive direct feedback from the teacher and other learners throughout the class. Learners will be instructed on how to complete the potato clock and receive direct feedback from the teacher. This class will be interactive and hands on. Students will be able to demonstrate how their clock works at the end of class. No prior knowledge required for this fun hands on class! We look forward to meeting your learner in class!

Students will be working with nails and wires to complete this project. Adult supervision may be required. Per Outschool policy, adults are to remain off camera. The final product is not a toy.

Students will need the following supplies for this class: 2 potatoes, any variety 2 pieces of copper wire 2 galvanized nails 3 alligator clip assemblies (each should be 2 clips connected by wire) A 1-2 volt digital clock
