Welcome to "Watercolor Wonderland", where you'll embark on a creative journey to discover the magic of watercolor painting. Whether you're picking up a brush for the first time or looking to refine your skills, this class will provide you with a solid foundation in essential watercolor techniques. My step-by-step approach ensures that you'll gain confidence and competence in using this versatile medium.

What You Will Learn:

- Wet on Wet: Explore the enchanting effects of blending colors seamlessly on a wet surface, creating soft transitions and beautiful washes.
- Wet on Dry: Master the technique of applying wet paint onto a dry surface for sharper, more defined edges and details.
- Bokeh: Understand how to create the beautiful, out-of-focus background effects often seen in photography, adding a dreamy quality to your paintings.
- Wax Resist: Discover the fun of using wax as a resist to create interesting patterns and highlights, adding an element of surprise to your artwork.
- Salt: Experiment with salt to create unique textures and organic patterns.
- Creating Value: Gain skills in controlling the lightness and darkness of your colors, crucial for depicting light and shadow effectively.
- Creating Depth: Learn techniques for achieving depth, making your paintings come alive with a three-dimensional quality.

Format of the class: 
Videos will be provided demonstrating each technique and step of creating a variety of paintings using watercolors. 

Class Structure:
I will teach by using videos demonstrating each technique and painting step-by-step. 

Teaching Style:
My teaching style is relaxed. If projects are submitted to the classroom page, I will provide feedback in a positive and supportive manner.

Interaction:
The learners are encouraged to reach out to me throughout the class. I will be responding to learners a minimum of once per week. However, feedback will be provided as soon as I am available to respond. This could be immediate or it may take up to 48 hours. Feedback will be in the form of messages sent through the class page or videos created for specific needs. If other videos are needed for extra support, these videos will be provided as soon as the videos can be created, but within the week requested. 

This class is scheduled to run for 9 weeks. Due to the nature of the skills, practice time, and amount of creativity the learner includes in their works of art, the amount of time needed for each lesson will vary.
