Watercolor paper - I will use a piece that is 9" x 12" but specific size is not important. 
Watercolor paint (any variety)
A large, soft bristled paint brush (ideally one that holds a good amount of water)
A cup of water
Paper Towels
Markers or crayons
A glue stick
Googly eyes (optional)
A template will be provided for inspiration or that may be used to cut apart and glue to the project
Scissors (depending on age of child - up to parental discretion) 

Depending on your student's age and dexterity, you may want to assist them in cutting out any pieces of the template they may want to use. If you are confident with their use of scissors, these smaller items are great practice for developing cutting skills. I leave it to your discretion if you want to supply your student with scissors and the template, or if you'd rather cut the pieces out yourself before class begins.
