Hi Families!

Welcome to my watercolor alphabet class! I'm so happy you are here!

This 30 minute class will be broken down as follows:

-Introduction
        -can you tell me the letters in your name?

-Paper folding 
        -we will work together, step by step to fold a white sheet of paper into eighths (the folding does not have to be perfect)

-Alphabet writing
        -using a white crayon, we will write an uppercase and lowercase letter in each of the eight boxes on our folded paper
        -as we are writing the letters, we will focus on the letter formation and shape of the letters
        -after writing a letter, we will sing the letter song to help our brains remember the correct letter sound

-Watercolor paint rules
       -watercolors need a lot of water to work- when Harry (the paintbrush) gets crazy hair, that means he is thirsty
       -water, paint, water, paint....

-Watercolor painting letters
        -we will paint the different boxes to find the mystery letter and watch it appear
        -name the letter, name the sound and sing the letter song again

-Clean up
        -make sure your area is clean- paints are closed

The alphabet letters will vary by class.
