In this course, students will gain insights into healthy lifestyles, focusing on the impact of sleep and nutrition on personal health and wellness. Live sessions will include physical activity that does not require any specialized equipment; students will simply need sufficient space to engage in movement and elevate their heart rates. Each week, we will meet twice for 55-minute sessions aimed at fostering overall health and well-being.

The structure of our sessions will include an initial 10 minutes for introductions and check-ins to gauge student progress. This will be followed by a 30-minute active segment, which encompasses a 25-minute workout and a 5-minute cooldown. The final segment will allocate 10 minutes for discussion, culminating with a 5-minute session to recap and remind students of upcoming assignments.

Our discussions will delve into the interactions between daily habits and bodily functions, addressing topics such as sleep patterns, dietary choices, screen time, video games, social media, and other lifestyle habits that may inhibit an individual's full potential. Weekly assignments will include maintaining a food log to help students visualize their eating habits, as well as a sleep log to assess their sleeping patterns. These logs will remain confidential and will not be discussed during class time, although students are encouraged to share experiences or ask questions. Only the student, their parent, and I, as the instructor, will have access to these logs.

My teaching approach will be interactive and engaging, as I will participate in the workouts alongside the students. Together, we will foster a supportive environment characterized by laughter and shared enjoyment during both physical activities and discussions. As their teacher, I am committed to providing a clear understanding of the material being taught, and I will employ PowerPoint presentations and interactive activities to enhance our discussions.

Students will take ownership of their learning while receiving my unwavering support. Ultimately, the goal of this course is to empower individuals to enhance their personal health and well-being. I will ensure a safe space for students to express themselves, ask questions, and feel comfortable reaching out via email for additional guidance. I am fully dedicated to facilitating the success of my students and will do everything within my capacity to help them achieve their goals in this course.

 This lesson will cover all introductions, meet and greets, plus expectations of the class. - probably a small 15 minute workout

 We will cover all 8 dimensions of wellness. There will be interactive activities for the students to get a better understanding of each dimension; plus students will be able to create SMART goals for their person fitness during the class.

學習需求
This class will provide different levels of explanations for workout needs. Teacher will also demonstrate exercises during the class. Students will also be able to ask clarifying questions at any time during the duration of the class.
父母的引導和規範
When learning about health and wellness, it can be a trigger when you start to visualize all the things that you don't do that could be affecting your body. We will not be using any type of media that will triggering or scary. It will be the discussions that could affect the student.

I possess extensive knowledge in this subject area, holding a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Nutrition and Psychology. Over the past 15 years, I have accumulated significant experience and training that qualifies me to educate others on fitness and nutrition. This course will be tailored to be age-appropriate, and students will be required to participate in workouts during the online classes. Additionally, weekly logs will need to be submitted on a regular basis. I will provide personalized feedback on these logs, ensuring that my comments align with the individual health goals of each student.
