Learners will listen as I read aloud a book to them. Reading aloud enhances and enriches literacy and language skills. Reading aloud aids in the young learner's imagination skills and is the beginning of fostering a love of reading. This is a Waldorf-inspired story time and the class is very gentle and calming. As in Waldorf style, the teacher lights a candle and the students listen to the story. The class ends with a goodnight song and the teacher will blow the candle out signaling it is...
To enhance the literacy, imagination skills, reading and language skills of the learner.
Students may come in their pajamas and bring a favorite doll or stuffed animal and a pillow or blanket.
