This is OUTschool. Let's talk about current events in ways you won't be able to discuss IN school. My classes are designed for teens who are either homeschooled or after school teens too. The aim is to help students be more aware of what is going on in the world around them in hopes that as they get older, they will be the change.
When I taught public school, I taught a similar news related class, but we weren't able to discuss the topics the way we will be able to here on Outschool.
The above items will be used in Screenshare by the teacher so personal accounts will not be required for the class.

Students who take this class will have some really in depth discussion about some important and sometimes delicate topics. A high level of maturity is needed/expected and an intense interest in learning more about the world around them. This class is for future leaders and change agents.
