In this one-time class, we will examine what common verbs we use, how we can "verb hunt" in our writing to find places to spruce it up, and practice transforming the verbs we use to make our writing more vivid and captivating. We will use a "teach-try-practice" model and students are encouraged to share their writings, as well as share their verb transformations.
