We will discuss "Visualizing" and practice the skill during the class. Students will learn what it means to visualize while reading, the different starter words/phrases they can use, and why visualization is important to reading comprehension. Students will improve their reading comprehension by developing the skill of Visualizing in order to better comprehend the texts that they read.
Please bring a white board and marker OR paper and pencil to class. You may also bring a book to share. If we have time at the end of class, students may take turns reading a little from their own book so we can practice visualizing even more!
