Context clues are used to figure out the meaning of unfamiliar words in sentences or reading text. Students will examine sentences and look for clues to help determine the definition of unknown words. The lesson will be divided into 3 main sections: discussion about using context clues, finding clues in sentences, and determining word meaning. I served the Director of Ancillary Services tasked with planning and executing summer and winter camps at a PK-12 school. I hold a degree in Psychology and an MBA, a 150-hour master teacher certificate for teaching English as a second language courses and have served as a college counselor for almost 5 years advising students and families on the college acceptance process. I have taught middle school, have been an academic administrator in a Pre-K 12 school and was a founding director of a Learning Center.
