I know math can feel frustrating, confusing, and boring, so I'm here to help! The benefit of my 1-on-1 sessions are the individualized instruction and support. 

Sessions could consist of homework help, test prep, instruction, guided notes, example problems, and independent practice.

Topics covered in sessions are flexible within 4th, 5th and 6th grade. Some possible topics are:
-Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division with whole numbers, decimals, and fractions.
-Order of Operations
-Multi-step real world problems
-Classification of shapes
-Coordinate planes
-Ratios & Unit Rates

Please send any topics or math problems that you would like to be covered before the session starts so that I best map out a game plan for the session.

In addition to providing extra instruction and support with various math topics, I integrate a growth mindset approach to math. I want all students to leave each session feeling confident in their ability to flourish as a mathematician!
