In this ongoing course for reluctant readers ages 9-12, learners will meet one time per week for 50 minutes. Learners will practice using a variety of pre and post-reading strategies including vocabulary-building and comprehension activities. The activities and reading practice will develop strong reading skills that will build comprehension, and increase fluency and confidence to encourage more reading.
