In this interactive class, learners will explore ways to understand and manage their anger in healthy ways.  We will explore the power of expressing your emotions through creative outlets like writing, music, and art. 

Learners will learn calming techniques and build a personal toolbox for channeling their anger into positive energy. 

The goal of this course is for learners to leave feeling empowered, equipped, and ready to face any challenges with a cool head and a creative spark!

Learners will have the opportunity to explore these calming strategies through mini-lectures, interactive games, discussions, and/or video clips.

The course is designed to support all learners. However, I am a certified teacher with the qualifications to provide behavior and instructional support to students with ADHD, ASD, and Emotional Disabilities.

I have experience serving middle school students with ADD/ADHD, ASD, and Emotional Disabilities in small group settings in the classroom. I have experience applying the principles of applied behavior analysis in the classroom/education settings through the use of functional skills behavior skills training as a teacher and as a registered behavioral technician (RBT).
