The University Ready Writing class from IEW is an advanced writing program that equips students with the essential skills needed for college-level writing. The course covers critical areas such as research techniques, essay composition, thesis development, and analytical writing. It also emphasizes proper citation, coherent argumentation, and the refinement of style and voice, ensuring that learners are well-prepared for the demands of university coursework and academic writing. In addition, it also equips students to take notes in classes for best learning practices.

Introduction to Essay Writing

Learners will work on summarizing a primary source,

While IEW classes are specific and advanced knowledge of IEW structure and style can be helpful, it is not required. However, if this class feels too advanced, starting with high school Level C IEW classes can help prepare for this class
