In this one time life skills class we will discuss three ways students can build their confidence. I will use a student-centered approach during class and encourage student engagement. The students will learn about topics that include the importance of a positive attitude, good friendships and how to appreciate their uniqueness. My training in Child Development and School Counseling have prepared me to teach this class. I have been trained on how to teach students self-management and social skills. I understand how to deliver age-appropriate activities and services to students. My previous work experience in education have qualified me to address the developmental needs of all students.
