Calling all unicorn lovers!  This one time 30 minute class will include 3 parts.  In the first part we will make a virtual magical unicorn cake!  The students will help figure out how much of each ingredient to put into the cake.  For example 3 + 4 rainbows.  The format of this part will be a presentation where students will be able to see and count the ingredients as we make the cake.  In the second part of this class, we will get active!  Students will have the opportunity to shake out their sillies as they practice math skills.  We will figure out how many of each activity to do and then count together.  For example, 5-1 jumping jacks.  And then we will do 4 jumping jacks together while counting them out loud.  The format of this part will be us talking together and doing the activities together.  The third part of this class will be a game.  We will have to unlock 10 locks by answering addition and subtraction questions in order to unlock the unicorn treasure.  We will play this game together as a class and I will randomly call on students to help me answer each question.

This class is a great way to practice counting, adding and subtracting.  Students should already be familiar with numbers 1-10.
