課堂經歷
No experience necessary. Students require a ukulele for this class. In this four day camp, students will have fun learning the basics of playing the ukulele. Students will learn how to hold the ukulele. Students will learn the names of the strings. Students will learn to clap and strum simple rhythmic patterns. We will learn one finger chords for young beginners (C and F). We will practice singing and playing children's songs (Mary Had a Little Lamb and Row Row Row Your Boat). I will demonstrate the chords and songs. Parents - I recommend you attend the lesson with your child and assist them with posture and finger placement. Please make sure to help your child tune their ukulele before each class. There are many great tuning apps available. My favorite is called GuitarTuna. If you need assistance, please let me know and I would be happy to meet before class to assist with tuning. I recommend that students sit on a chair for the lesson. For this age group, I recommend that a parent sits beside their child (off camera) and assists them during the lesson.
