Students with established knowledge and experience with playing the ukulele will learn how to play more advanced chords, mixed or complex strumming techniques, explore the musical world of fingerpicking, and practice playing and learning popular songs on the ukulele instrument. Please note that the class maximum is 2 and not 1, in the case that two students decide to take this course together with parental approval (e.g. friends, siblings, relatives, etc.). The student will learn and improve upon their musical ability with playing the ukulele by learning unique and complex strumming techniques. Singing is heavily encouraged, although it is not necessary a part of the curriculum (songs/melodies will be taught and singing or humming the tune is helpful to beginner students).
