課堂經歷
In this first part of the multi-day course, we will begin by learning correct terms (frets, chords, strumming, tuning, etc), identifying the different parts of our instruments, and tuning our instruments. Then we will move on to learning a few basic chords, building in difficulty and intensity as we progress our learning during the entire course. Students will be taught how to strum in different rhythms to match each song tempo (example: down, down, up, down, up...). They will also be playing...
The student will learn and improve upon their musical ability with playing the ukulele and memorizing its chord fingerings. Singing is heavily encouraged, although it is not necessary a part of the curriculum (songs/melodies will be taught and singing or humming the tune is helpful to beginner students).

Practice the chord fingering and strumming techniques discussed in class, as well as practice playing songs that we learn during our lessons (the teacher will share digital copies of the music).1 - 2 每週課外時間

A ukulele tuner app is highly beneficial (and free). I use one simply called "ukelele tuner" from the Apple store; it has a mint green background and over-sized white letters that spell "uku-lele". The student may also want to watch YouTube tutorial videos as review or extra practice on the topics and techniques that we learn in class.
