金銀島：創建自己的藏寶圖！

Ahoy, mateys! Have you ever wanted to join the crews of Jack Sparrow or Long John Silver as they search for buried treasure? Come learn how to read a treasure map and then create your own!

In this class, students will learn basic map reading skills, such as directional orientation, reading a legend or key, and the meanings of other common symbols found on maps. Once we have those skills, we will practice our knowledge by creating our own treasure maps to share with the class.

The class will be a mix of teacher-led instruction, independent creation time, and student discussion.

By the end of class, students should have the basic structure of a map and know how to read it. Depending on each learner's creative goals, they may not finish their maps in class. They are welcome to continue working on their maps afterward to make them as detailed as they wish.
