In each session of this exciting course, we will virtually visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Students will learn about the unique history and significance of each wonder, exploring questions such as: What makes this site one of the Seven Wonders? How long has it held this distinction? Where is it located? After our virtual journey, students will be given a creative writing prompt to respond to. They will have time during each session to start their writing, and they can complete it afterward if needed. They will also be given the opportunity to share with others (if they wish). This class is ideal for students who love adventure and want to practice writing in a fun, creative way. It’s designed to inspire creativity while honing writing skills. At the end of the course, students can share their writing with the class or submit it for individual feedback, focusing on strengths and areas for growth. I have over 17 years of experience in education. This includes full-time in the classroom, in-person tutoring, virtual tutoring, and home-schooling my children. I am always looking for engaging ways to get students to write. I have found students to be more engaged and excited about writing when they get to learn about something new and then get the opportunity to write.
