The learning goals for this course will investigate the history of the Cold War and how the Titan II missile fit into the United States strategy of peace through deterrence. Further, it will discuss the missile system as a whole and focus on the history and science of the U.S. intercontinental ballistic missile program. The student will learn about the history and key points of the Cold War as well as how the Titan II Nuclear Missile fit into the United States strategy of peace through deterrence.
As a former United States Air Force officer and a docent for the Titan Missile Museum, I am able to bring a highly educated perspective on this topic. Additionally, I love teaching about science and history.
