青少年乘法表練習 - 有趣的線上乘法數學遊戲

Learners feel more confident in their math skills when they have a strong handle on times tables. 

Learners will join a weekly 30 minute lesson, to log in and play a fun online game. The game can be played independently, against classmates and even against other students around the world (completely anonymously). Learners are motivated by earning virtual currency, to improve their own speed and accuracy, and by the friendly competition. 

The online game automatically adapts to each learner's unique learning needs, helping them recall their times tables at record speed! This means a learner can compete against a classmate where one is learning their 2x table and the other is learning their 7x (or 13x table!).

Learners have access to the game all week, and they can really improve with a little-and-often approach. Even 3-5 minutes a day can have a great impact on their ability to recall their times tables. The data is tracked in the game, and learners are encouraged to look at their own progress.

Why should learners memorize their times tables?
⭐Supports Mental Math: Knowing multiplication facts by heart makes it easier to perform mental math, which is useful in everyday situations and more advanced math problems.
⭐Faster Calculations: When students memorize times tables, they can recall multiplication facts quickly, reducing the time needed to solve math problems.

⭐Real-Life Applications: Knowing times tables can make everyday tasks easier, such as budgeting, cooking (scaling recipes), shopping (calculating discounts or unit prices), and understanding time (e.g., calculating hours or days).

Outschool requires that cameras are on for registration, but there are no requirements for learners to keep their cameras on. Learners can use a mic or the Zoom chat function to communicate with me.
