Hello! It is "Time to Tell the Time" in this one-time class for 5-7 year olds! In this class, we will cover the basics of telling time on analog and digital clocks. We will begin by discussing features on analog and digital clocks to distinguish between the two. We will then move on to telling time to the hour on both kinds of clocks. I will then access where students are at. If they need more practice with telling time to the hour, we will live in that moment, but if students are ready to move on to telling time to the half-hour then we will continue with that! I believe meeting students where they are at academically is so important and we won't move on until we are ready. I also believe it is paramount that learning be engaging, so we will be playing games and having fun in class! Please join me on this journey of telling time! Please print off the analog and digital clocks for students to use in class. It would be helpful to make the clocks useable with dry erase markers by inserting the clocks into a plastic sleeve or laminating them. If unable to do so, please use a pencil so that the time can be erased and a new time can be shown. The analog clock can also be cut out and hour and minute hands can be created and fastened with a brad.

Hello! I'm Teacher Vanessa and I am so excited to teach your child! I hope to help your child meet their highest potential through fun and engaging lessons. I have a Bachelor's degree in English and Early Childhood Education from Metropolitan State University of Denver. I have over ten years of teaching experience.
