In this ongoing class, students will learn about a new animal each week. The students will learn about the animal's physical characteristics, habitat, diet, and some fun facts. They will engage in discussions about the animal through a vibrant slide show. They will use their new knowledge to participate in games (trivia games, guessing games, etc...) They will complete a simple craft for each animal. Some examples of animals covered are: horses, bearded dragon lizards, lovebirds, polar bears, zebras, cheetahs, clown fish, etc...

Here is the breakdown of the weeks:

Week of March 2: Beavers
Supplies Needed:
Paper
A pencil and eraser
Paint (we will be painting a foot!) or you can trace your foot and color it in with coloring materials.
Wet wipes to clean your foot off if you will be painting.

Week of June 1: Naked Mole Rats
Week of June 15: Snails





No prior knowledge about animals is required in order to enjoy these classes.
