No previous experience or knowledge needed.

This self-paced class consists of a pre-recorded lesson video (<60 minutes) and a brief lesson quiz and discussion homework (5 to 15 minutes). For one week, learners can share questions and comments on the classroom page. I respond within 24 hours. The lesson slides, which include answers to in-lesson questions, answers to the lesson quiz, and a detailed glossary, will be posted after one week. Homework and class participation are optional. The quiz is not graded.

I teach using lesson slides and frequently introduce questions to reinforce learner knowledge and critical thinking. During the lesson, there will be a case study to help learners understand the role investors have in organizations. My teaching philosophy is to introduce the essence of an investor and their place in the world. Building this understanding will better ground learners in future studies of the stock market, investment analysis, and investing strategies.
