Learn about the living legends of the West - American mustangs! In this class, learners will: *Discover the history of the mustangs from their early beginnings to their presence today. *Locate where they live, and explore what a Herd Management Area is. *View common characteristics of mustangs. *Discuss well-known mustangs, such as Spirit. Class will follow a lecture and discussion format using a slide presentation with many pictures. Participation is encouraged, but not required. Learners will be able to ask questions. Information about the instructors personal mustangs will be shared.

I have an extensive background in all things equine, and have a special passion for feral mustangs. Over the years, I have met and trained many mustangs. I have participated in Extreme Mustang Makeover events and have had the privilege of working with some top trainers. Mustangs have taught me many lessons as well along the way.
