Umm...what even is that weird animal?! The critter in the photo is a red-lipped batfish and it's just one of many strange animals we will learn about in this series. Just look up photos to get a sneak peek at these funky friends! This class is perfect for animal lovers who want to learn about the amazing diversity of life in the animal kingdom. The class will explore marine animals. Other editions of this class cover mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles, and more! Check out my profile to see other classes in this series. There is no required sequence for classes in this series. This class will be an interactive lecture using slides, photos, and videos, as well as discussions throughout the class.
學習目標
Students will increase their knowledge of zoology by using the above animals as case studies. Students will be able to name and describe these animals and their unique characteristics. Students will also be able to describe why weird animals exist and how their characteristics may help them survive. As a side effect, students may become highly enthusiastic about learning science!
