On November 7th, 1872, the Mary Celeste left port in New York City for what was usually a normal run across the Atlantic to deliver it’s goods to ports along Europe. But just days into her voyage, she was spotted by another vessel- and when investigated further, it appeared the crew had completely vanished without a trace- leaving the Mary Celeste to drift aimlessly in the ocean.
