課堂經歷
This class will define and give examples for the most common logical fallacies. Students will connect these fallacies with entertainment, advertisements, politics, and arguments between friends. We will break down how and why these fallacies occur. This class will be partially lecture, but with a lot of class cooperation. Students can come prepared with any arguments that they think fall under logical fallacy. The class will break down straw man arguments, ad hominem attacks, and appeals to emotion and ignorance.

Students will learn how to spot logical fallacies in debate. They will also learn how to avoid making these mistakes while creating an argument based on reasoning.
