What will be taught?
Students will explore the Mongols' role as conquerors and unifiers, focusing on how they shaped China and Korea during the Yuan Dynasty. Key topics include the impact of Mongol rule on trade, governance, and cultural exchanges, as well as the tensions leading to the rise of the Ming Dynasty.

What topics will you cover?
We’ll cover the unification of China and Korea under the Mongols, trade goods like silk and porcelain, the importance of the Silk Road, the challenges faced by the Yuan Dynasty, and the rise of the Ming Dynasty. Students will also analyze the dual nature of Mongol rule as both beneficial and disruptive.

How is your class structured?
The class includes an engaging video lesson, guided notes, interactive activities, discussion questions at various levels of depth, and creative assignments. Each segment builds on the previous one, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the topic.

How will you teach?
Teaching will blend video clips, storytelling, and interactive elements to make the material relatable and fun. Students will work through guided notes during the lesson, participate in a debate, and create projects that demonstrate their understanding.
