Sharks have existed for hundreds of millions of years and if you think the sharks that exist today are terrifying, wait until you meet some of the prehistoric sharks that ruled the seas millions of years ago.
In this one-time educational and fun class, we will learn about 5 of the most terrifying, amazing and fascinating prehistoric sharks to ever exist:
1. The Megalodon-the giant of the sea
2. The Helicoprion-the buzzsaw shark
3. The Stethacanthus-the anvil shark
4. The Edestus-the scissor toothed shark
5. The Xenacanthus-the eel shark
Through an engaging slide show and discussion, we will explore the physical characteristics, behaviors, habitats and some fascinating facts for each prehistoric shark.其他詳情

Hello! My name is Amy Buck and I am so excited to meet your learner/s in class. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and 10 years of experience working with preschool- 5th grade students in an elementary school environment. I also have over 3 years of experience working with children aged 3-16 years old as an online ESL teacher.
While I have experience teaching all subjects, my passion is animal science. I have a lifetime of experience raising, rescuing and advocating for animals. I am so excited to share knowledge and appreciation for all animals with my students.
