This class will introduce young students to the history of musical theatre, focusing on it's evolution, iconic musicals and important figures. Through engaging games, quizzes and musical excerpts, students will learn about the evolution of musical theatre and have fun doing it! We will watch video clips, see images and hear stories about musical theatre history in hopes of inspiring this next generation to both appreciate and create art!

I am a professional actor and singer who has been working in the business and teaching for over 30 years! I LOVE kids and have taught in public schools, private schools, arts schools and music schools. I also teach individual voice lessons, group vocal ensembles and choruses. I have directed and choreographed musical theatre performances for children. I am a member of Actors’ Equity Association and the National Association of Teachers of Singing. I love working with kids of all levels! I am also a mom to three kids ages 12-18. 評論
